 So we decided to drive inland to see if we could get a better vantage point:

It's about a 200km drive in three hours.

Along the way I began to wonder what a Queensland speeding ticket looked like. Luckily there was a policeman giving them out, so he gave me this one:

The place we ended up in had way more astrologers than astronomers. The eclipse id not magic. It may be magical but it's not magic.

Not sure whether we will drive up there tonight for dawn or stay here.
